Whats up Y'all,

Unfortunately I have only one gaming buddy yo play Silent Death with.

We are looking for a way to spice things up a bit and a campaign system would be just up our alley....However the "Silent Death Campaign System" needs a third person to manage the game...

Is there any way to play a Silent Death Campaign with just two people? [B)]

Well, there's the old staple of Writing Down What One Wants To Do, Then Handing It Over To The
Other Guy As He's Handing His Orders Over To You. Inelegant, but effective.

In one of the very early issues of Strategy & Tactics this was suggested as an option to create a fog-of-war aspect for miniatures wargaming. The article described its use in a game which was both amusing as players interpreted each others orders and fairly realistic as it took away the army commanders' absolute control over their units. A very interesting method for players who get along well together. (Not recommended for the immature, win-at-all-costs players, or rules lawyers.[Wink]).

OK, slight case of Pronoun Trouble here. Smiley

What I meant was: Each player writes down what he will be doing with
his force. Each player then hands his written orders to the other
player, closed up so that what has been written is not immediately
visible. Both players then open the orders at the same time, and lay
them on the table. In this way, it is difficult (if not impossible)
for a player to "crawfish" on what he's written.

The short answer is yes.  The current version of the CS has optional rules for playing without a Game Master.

Heads up from the Silent HQ. We are currently developing a 2+ person Campaign System for playing a mercenary Squadron. First results are expected in July

If you want you can join in our campaign:

You have a buddy to play against so that's sorted.  Move around the Map and find stuff.

Done my own 'random' generator...  will see how it pans out.
